My love of photography began at age 14, when I borrowed my sister's manual Olympus SLR camera.  I was captivated from the moment I clicked the shutter.  I knew right then what I was going to be when I grew up, a photographer.  Since that time, I have pursued a career in photography.  I was lucky enough to get a job at a One Hour Photo Shop and Portrait Studio while in high school, where I recieve great instruction from my boss a portrait photographer and his father a commercial photographer.  I was able to take what they taught me and apply it into my images.  I further pursued my dream by attending Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2000.  An intensive ten month program, Hallmark Institute of Photography combines the art, technology and business of photography.  Creating professional photographers ready to compete in today's industry. 

Upon graduation, I took a position as staff photographer at Berry and Homer in Philadelphia, PA.  During my three years as a photographer for Berry & Homer, I was able to hone my photography skills by photographing everything from artwork and products to commercial building and warehouses, gaining valuable technical skills in architectural photography, aerial photography and product photography that can only be learned through experience.

In 2005, I made the decision to start my own commercial photography business, and thus began The Plaid Image. Specializing in Architectural Photography, Aerial Photography and Nature Stock Photography.

The Plaid Image Photographic Studio is based in Wilmington, Delaware.  Wilmington is located within a short distance of Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore, Washington DC; and everything in between.

My mission is simple, customer satisfaction.

My prices are affordable, and quality of work is excellent.
